Internal links are the roads inside your website. They help visitors find related content and help Google discover and understand your pages. Yet most small sites have weak internal linking. Writers publish a post, forget older related posts and never link them together. When I reviewed a tech blog in Islamabad, more than half its posts had no internal links at all. Adding thoughtful links to older posts improved rankings without writing a single new article.

What our tool does

The AI Internal Link Suggestions tool reads the real pages on your website and compares them with the article you paste. It then suggests:

  • Which of your pages to link to, chosen from your actual site
  • Natural anchor text taken from or fitting your article
  • Where in the article each link fits
  • Real URLs only, so you are not given invented pages

How to use it

  1. Open the AI Internal Link Suggestions tool.
  2. Enter your website address.
  3. Paste the article text you want to add links to.
  4. Click Suggest Internal Links.
  5. Review each suggestion and add the ones that truly help the reader.

Why internal links matter

  • They spread authority from strong pages to newer or weaker pages.
  • They help Google find pages, especially deep posts that are rarely visited.
  • They show topic relationships, which builds topical authority.
  • They keep visitors reading, which can increase page views and conversions.
  • Anchor text gives context about the linked page.

Rules for good internal links

  • Link when it helps the reader, not just for SEO.
  • Use descriptive anchor text, such as gaming PC build guide, not click here.
  • Vary anchor text naturally instead of repeating the exact keyword every time.
  • Link to important pages more often, such as main services and cornerstone guides.
  • Fix links to redirected or broken pages.

Check your existing links

Before adding new links, see what you already have. The Internal Link Checker shows all internal links on a page and their status. The Broken Link Checker finds links that lead to error pages. The Anchor Text Analyzer helps you see whether your anchor text is varied and descriptive.

Build topic clusters

A strong internal linking pattern is the topic cluster. Choose one main guide on a broad topic, such as SEO for beginners. Then write several detailed posts on subtopics, such as keyword research, meta tags and backlinks. Link every subtopic post to the main guide, and link the main guide to each subtopic. This tells Google your site covers the topic thoroughly.

A real example

A property blog in Lahore had more than 150 posts about housing societies, but none linked to each other. We ran each top post through the tool and added three to five relevant internal links pointing to society guides, price pages and buying tips. Within two months, older posts that had never ranked began appearing on page two and some reached page one, simply because Google could now find and understand them better.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Adding too many links in one paragraph.
  • Using the same exact anchor on every page.
  • Linking to unrelated pages just to add links.
  • Forgetting old posts. Go back and add links from older content to new posts.

Frequently asked questions

How many internal links should a post have

There is no fixed number. Three to ten useful links in a normal blog post is common.

Does the tool add links automatically

No. It suggests links. You decide which ones to add in your CMS.

Why did it not suggest some pages

It can only suggest pages it can find on your site, usually from your sitemap and links.
